Unwilling to put myself through the necessary preparations of running 42.195 kilometres in a single stretch, I happily race around the streets of Copenhagen on my city bike every May to watch 12,000 others do what I will not. However, the commitment and personal triumphs I see on the streets of Copenhagen rub off on me a little bit more every year, and I know it is only a matter of time before I join the pursuit.
